New Suit with Shine. Can I remove it?

I just purchased a Giorgio Armani suit. I very much like it. the problem is it comes from the factory with some shine. It is a dark grey with very fine pinstriped 100% cotton. I have read that very tightly spun cotton can cause a shine and judging by the texture of the suit i would say that is the case. I was wondering if there is any way to reduce the shine a little but because i really don't want to return the suit. Thanks!

Caveat Emptor.

You saw what it was like in the shop, either take it back or lump it. If it was second hand from eBay then hard luck.
