1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I'm also against it. I must say I don't understand this impulse to segregate (so seemingly common on internet fora). The logical end result would be very focused conversations involving only a handful of people (in other words, forum death). Hey, how about the Neapolitan Shoulder Forum?! If the shoe discussions and pictures bother you, perhaps you should take a bit of time to think about what might be drawing you to a clothing discussion board in the first place.

If the members were overwhelmingly in favor, I'd consider it, so no big deal. But again, I think separate shoe forum(s) would just add to the confusion for members looking to get advice. I guess we could then make a "which shoes with these clothes and vice versa" forum for each S&D and MC...

Early exit polls are not favorable to the shoe subforum lobby.

No. No new subforum. What's next, one for ties, one for pocket squares, one for laces, one for braces etc...

The separate subforum for shoes seems kind of pointless to me. Everyone who is interesting in dressing well is going to have a strong interest in good shoes and vice versa, so why isolate the shoe threads?

i think we may just need a separate subforum for Santoni FAM exclusively.
and another for Omega Seamaster watches.

i think I will be the only one in there lurking, "Hello? is anyone here? "

I'm against it. Easier to search for new threads when all is together...

Might be nice to clear the shoe freaks out of here. Improve the atmosphere and what not.

I think we also need a RL Purple Label Mackay 9.5 E in dark oak subforum as well.
believe me, it may be a regular forum for many.

The stench of shoe polish is really quite unbearable.

Actually, the only subforum we need to create is the Thom Browne Appreciation Forum. Good for the disposal of rotten produce.

i think we should have a "Jealous Forumites Rant and Rave of Aportnoy's shoe collection" subforum.
