New Standards -- Inseam stitching falling apart

Bought my first pair of APC New Standards recently and, after literally 3 days of wear, the stitching on the inseam of the left leg is coming undone. Not sure exactly how to describe it but the pictures should do a good job. It happened right where I've been cuffing the jeans. Why is this happening/what can I do? Is this normal? Thanks!

I know it's annoying but...how is one supposed to navigate a 400 page thread without being able to search within in? Having trouble finding what you're referring to

Luckily I wrote a dissertation on conducting searches within SF. There is a "search this thread" option in which you can type the words you are looking for, you can even perform an advanced search if anality tickles your fancy. Or, and I know this may sound unorthodox, you may pose your question by clicking reply and wait to garner responses.

So I've found a couple posts in that thread about stitching coming undone but it's still not reassuring that this is happening after about 25 hours of wear. Does this seem like a defective pair or is it really just a normal occurrence? Thanks again

Where'd you buy em? Why not just find out the exchange/return policy and take that course of action? I have NCs and NSs... I am pretty hard on them and have relatively beefy thighs for my waist size... no problems after a year of wear, you got a bogus pair

They were one of the few online stores with my size in stock. Has anyone dealt with American Rag? Haven't heard great things about their customer service and their return policy only mentions returning/exchanging the jeans if they're unworn. Do I have any other recourse if the jeans I got were simply defective as they seem to have been? Is it the retailer's responsibility to exchange them? Thanks for all the help

that is not normal. can you exchange for a better jean? what else does the rag have? not to offend or get people panties in a knot or anything, but i really dont see the appeal in apc. aside from it being cheap what is the appeal? i mean literally for another $80 you can get some real japanese denim, like the warehouse 660 or pbj 006/008.

The appeal is the cut and the denim is good enough for those who don't give a **** about heritage or history preservation. So essentially they look better than most of those most of the time so that should solve the conundrum you're having.
