    You're comparing apples with oranges.

HAF (that terminology might be exclusive to Edward Green) soles are double sole where the middle sole is skived to nothing, once it's reached the waist, so there is only a single layer sweeping into the waist, unlike the conventional double sole where a double layer goes all the way underneath the heel. You can compare a conventional double sole to the half double sole (HAF) and prefer one or the other, but you can't compare a double sole to a single sole.

Marcell's shoe has a conventional single sole.

I am not comparing anything,I am just providing more explanation to what the other member said. I am aware what HAF sole is and FWIW,EG does it a lot better than Vass so there might be truth in what was said but I don't dispute any of it.

He is referring to the sole imbalance of Vass shoes, unlike Vass, yours don't have that problem. I agree partially. By the way, when are you going to have your RTW line up? Is that still in the works?

I see, OK. I still work on it, but I do have to work on the business model too. I still don't have a distributor...

Classic and elegant. Well done. What type of pricing are you thinking about?

Quite right, I thought they were a double.

Well, once I had a customer contacted me, requesting a triple sole shoe - it is theoretically possible, but bending that sole.. that could be a problem. So, when we started the conversation about the details, I realized, that he wants a double sole, but somehow, he counts the welt as an insole. So now I am smarter, and always educate customers, before they come up with details.

This is a simple sole, but some of my bespoke customers want's half midsole - so I do those too. The proportions, what could have mislead you: the welt and the sole is skived downa bit around the shank, so it makes an impression that the sole is thicker around the front part.

Well, this is still a question, but I guess around 1000.
