It fits quite well.
If it were mine, I'd like the belly section to have a little less excess fabric, but that lies more in the realm of personal preference.

Shoulders look a touch wide and there's too much fabric around the waist for my taste.

^Yes. But wash it first for shrinkage.

It is too big. Shoulders are too wide. There's too much fabric in the body, particularly the waist. Cuff opening is too large. Sleeve length seems a tad long, it's hard to tell from the photos. Does the neck fit?

That's just... not true.

I'd say it needs more suppression, there appears to be little difference between the chest measurement and the waist.

Based on the front picture I'd say the sleeves are definitely coming too far over your hand. The right sleeve is ending about the correct place but I think its because of the angle that hand is held at, the other hand which is at a more relaxed angle shows the cuff coming much farther over the hand. This would mean either the sleeves need shortening, or the cuff needs narrowing, depending on which approach you prefer to take.

Truth is such a variable concept. We all have truths, apparently mine are not the same as yours.

The sleeves extend past the break of the wrist, the body blouses excessively, and the shoulders of the shirt drop past the natural shoulder of the wearer. In my wardrobe, that means the shirt is too big. Your wardrobe apparently fits differently, true?

Such is fashion. But in regards to sleeve length, I think you're in the great minority to say that a sleeve should not extend past the break of the wrist. I've heard variable things, from as long as to the first thumb joint when unbuttoned to as short as half an inch beyond the wrist (the latter is prescribed by Flusser, I think). The purpose of all this is so the sleeves don't retreat away when you're fully extending your arm for, say, a handshake.

I'd say you've got yourself an 8.8/10. The first thing I'd do is wash the shirt to see if it is going to shrink. The only modification I'd have a tailor make is darts so you get a little more waist suppression. I think that will pull the entire thing in enough that any excess in the shoulders and sleeves (already minimal) will disappear.

I think its more like an 8.7.

Hence my original comment that the cuff is too large in circumference. My preference is for the sleeve to remain anchored at the break of the wrist at all times. This is aided by having the cuff cinch the sleeve closed at the wrist sufficiently tightly to prevent the sleeve from migrating from its proper position regardless of arm position. In the photo, the sleeves ride up the hand when the arm is at rest along the sides of the body. For me, that is too long. Even if the cuff were tightened up, it still appears as though there is more than an adequate amount of sleeve length required to prevent the sleeve from riding up the arm when extended or bent. If that is the case, and judgements from these photos are tricky at best, the sleeve is too long.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll take note the next time I go to my tailor and make more shirts. In the meantime, I'll launder the shirts to see if I get any shrinkage on them.
