Schick has just come out with the new Quattro trimmer. It has a four blade razor on one end, and a trimmer for goatees, sideburns, etc on the other end. Also it has a blade just behind the razor, that you can use to get in the hard to reach places, like under the nose.

It is battery powered similar to the Gillette Fusion. The trimmer also has a guard on it and it can be adjusted for the length of trim that you want, you can also remove the guard if you want to and use it in that fashion.. I have bought one and so far I am happy with it.

The only problem is that there is no place to keep the replacement blades. With the Fusion, the blades were housed underneath the holder and the razor sat in a holder. The Quattro has neither of these features.

The shave from the Quattro is really good in my opinion. Has anyone else tried the new trimmer yet? If so what is your opinion of it?

I've had once since the summer and love it as well. The trimmer is especially ideal for keeping my sideburns in check between haircuts.

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
