Wow! Are we seeing the same shoe in all these pictures? If so, this must be the first example of a "semi-beveled waist" I've seen. Maybe a better term would be "differentially-beveled waist." The waist seems beveled, alright, but extraordinarily on one side (hard to tell, but probably outside), with a real break in the sole line, but hardly at all on the other side. Or are my eyes playing tricks on me?! Wild!

No not really, it's hard to show the real color/antiquing on a photo
