I stopped by Ralph Lauren in Atlanta poking around to see if there was anything left for the sale + add'l 50% off and I noticed a new RLPL model (non-Edward Green) Made In Italy that was a sleek black blucher with plain rounded toe. It was well made. The leather and finishing was much better than the made in Italy stuff we have been seeing coming in the purple boxes the last two years or so. The sole/heel was nothing like I've ever seen from RL. It had Made in Italy stamped on the bottom of the sole and retail was 1100.00 The guys there said that it was new to the RLPL shoe line up and would be an addition to the RLPL EG that they already were offering. They said that they did not know who made the shoes. It seems that the higher-ups were not giving this info up and were annoyed that it was asked by the ATL RL people. It looked really nice. Anyone one else have any info on these?

That's a great post on the different RL makers. It was a good idea as it is probably going to be a constant work in progress, RL is constantly adding different makers to its different lines. Also, there's a new RLPL EG model coming at as well according to the sale people there. I guess that means more choices for us? I am really interested in finding out more about both of these new findings.
