They don't seem to come in a wide width, though.

Those boots come in an "FX" width, which is quite wide.

Bear in mind that they are a country boot, so they often run a little bit large so as to accommodate thick socks, as well.

Loake used to make a similar wingtip brogue country boot with a Dainite sole that came in a wide (UK "G") fitting, but I don't know if they make it anymore.

Tricker's makes quite a well-known version, known as the Malton and the Stow, but they're not at all cheap. The Malton is certainly available in a wide, G fitting:

Alfred Sargent's widths are a little confusing to me. Pediwear says "FX" is more of a medium width.

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
