New name

I'm trying to think of a pen name for professional purposes, once I get my business started. I want something aristocratic sounding. The name must convey power, strength, success, and personality. Perhaps something English sounding. I'd also prefer the first name to be monosylibic. If you guys have any suggestions let me know...

Otherwise, I've always liked the surname 'Ravencroft'. I'm voting for 'Charles Ravencroft'.

If I remember correctly, your business involves touring the country and giving seminars on how to pick up women. Or general dating advice or something like that. If that is indeed the case, I would reconsider using an English sounding name - Britons are not known for their passion or romance.

I would consider some Italian, or perhaps Latin American. Giovanni Bellanoche. Juanito de la Costa. Armando Carril. God this is fun.

I do dating coaching, where I go out to bar/clubs/lounges with clients and show them how to socialize, network, and pick up women. I also want to start incorporating image consulting into my program. The guys I get are usually professsionals who don't have a CLUE how to dress.

I'm about to take the business to the next level, and need to revamp the image. I want to move away from the "pick up girls" part and focus more on social dynamics, relationship cosulting, personal communications consulting, and image consulting. I'm also writing a book on socializing.

The whole "pick up" thing has a negative stigma attached to it, I really can't portray myself in that light; it sounds as if I teach guys "techniques" that are contrived or manipulative, which I don't.

Anyway, an Italian name would be great, though it's easy for it too sound cliche.

So if it's too easy for 'Mike" to pick up, it's time to up the ante. How hard would it be to convince a girl to go out with a Conan? "Yeah, as in the barbarian, not the O'Brien." Or Krull, "No, I actually chose it myself, recently." You'd gain my admiration. In a more English vein: Galahad, Percival, Kay, Mordred. For the Frenchman in you: de Boeufs. Try a South American sounding with a De in it...

That will give it an air of nobility...

The thing with women , the name is irrelevant as long as they're not planning to get married..

I know a Michael Hunt , a Lee King and the latter is quite popular with the ladies..
