There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I'd swear from far away that it's like a giant ford focus or an acura.

It's not bad but I have to say I like the face-lift W211 much better.
I don't like the headlights OR the taillights on the 212
I would consider it if it came with the split screen lcd and nightvision

Not really digging it. I think the W210 was the best of the last few gens now that was an elegant car.

I agree. This design will have to grow on me.

I'd hate to wax the front end.

I think it's downright ugly. The current generation E-class is much prettier. What's up with the head and tail lights? It looks like the currrent Accord. Blegh.

Ugly, yikes! It does look like BMW meets Honda Accord, but to be fair the Honda is an obvious copy of the MB character lines.

Something tells me someone's going to have to Photoshop some larger diameter rims on this car. I didn't like the S-Class either when it first came out & then I saw the Brabus version sitting at Fletcher Jones Mercedes in Newport Beach. Filling up those wheel wells made a night & day difference.

Maybe that's what they're going for here. IMO German carmakers tend to think of the aftermarket arena & mild to moderate modders/tuners at the time of design. Well at least more so than domestic & Asian carmakers.

I agree with Tarmac; when I saw the first image, the word "Hyundai" popped into my mind.

    Horrific.

In a world of forward thinking vulgar car design, it's nice to know audi is still capable of producing elegant modern cars for the most part.

The only reason it looks like a Hyundai is because Hyundai copies Honda in their designs. Now that I think about it, Hyundai blatantly rips of their designs from quite a few car makers

Hyundai rips from Lexus (Geneis reminds a whole lot of LS's) , Audi (TT's interior vs Tiburon), Honda (Sonata vs Accord). Those are top 3 off the top of my head. Basically, they rip every reputable manufacturer out there.
