New member introduction and question.

Hi all,
First post and wanted to introduce myself.
I started my forum hopping with watches and have recently been infatuated with boots.this forum has been helpful in enabling me (not that i need much help)
I do have a quick question.
I am looking at some Trickers stow boots.
I have a pair now that are a uk 10. They fit reasonably well the ball of my foot is almost perfect and there is no to almost no heel slippage.the width is good maybe just a hair wide.
With that said,to achieve a tight enough fit the laces are 95% together(meaning the two sides of the eyelets touch.
I have a thumb nail length from my big toe to the end of the boot.
If i were to drop to a 9.5 5 would it drop the length of the boot substantially?
Has any one tried on both a 9.5 and a 10 etc.
I feel like i am on the cusp of sizing

Your toes should never touch the end of the boot/shoe. The end of the shoe is not where your toes are supposed to rest.

I was hoping someone had tried on both the 9.5 and the 10 and could tell me the difference in length(roughly)

9.5 = 10.5 inches
10 = 10 11/16th inches.
