New SF member and not sure where to find the answer you're looking for? Have a quick question that doesn't belong in a current thread? Welcome, you found the right place.

This is a weekly thread where new users can ask quick questions and get a solid answer. If a thread already exists that would be more helpful, we will point you in the right direction. The only stupid question is the one that isn't asked.....so ask away!

I had to register here just so I could ask if anyone knows about this jacket
bigstar[1].gif
.

It's the low cost Schott biker jacket(model name LC 1140) that is probably made in China and they sell these in Europe for around 350-500€. Does anyone know about the quality of these jackets and especially I would like to know about the fit. Do these run small or are these true to size?

I'm 179cm, my dress shirt size is 39", waist 31". I can't decide between S and M.

I've been struggling to find a pair of denim that meets the following criteria: black, selvedge, slim with a taper, preferably something that's not raw so I can avoid the dye transfer period, and will fit a 28 waist. I'm also looking for something similar with for a pair of dark denim (selvedge but not raw to maintain the color). Any idea of brands that'll fit this criteria or specific denim?

Welcome to the forum, Strummer. No experience with them, but is your actual chest a 39" or your shirt? I found this from a review of that jacket on Amazon UK...."I am 5'10", 70kg, 38 chest, 31 waist and the Size Medium is a perfect slim fit."

One more question. Any recommendations for quality t-shirts that are solid black, white, or grey, have a chest measurement of 18-19 inches (pit to pit), and a shirt length of 25 inches - give or take 0.5 of an inch. Lastly, must not have a chest pocket. Looking for something minimalistic that meets that criteria and under $125 each (the more cost effective, the better).

Yeah I saw that review and I also went check some reviews from amazon.de where about 80% reviewers said that with this jacket people should size up.
38" is my actual chest size I suppose, but I wear 39" shirts. My normal size in leather jackets would be Small, but now I ordered this jacket in size medium. I hope it was the right choice.

I'm pretty sure you did. Best of luck.

In regards to the epaulet jersey tees, I don't like the stitching from the sleeves to the collar. I was looking for something a bit more classic in regards to that. I saw the other t-shirt by epaulet for $35 but don't like their "vintage black" colorway or the way the collar looks. The white one is okay though. The shirt will mainly be worn on its own (without layering) so I'm looking for something with a bit more body to the way it drapes (if that makes any sense). Any other recommendations?

Edit: after remeasuring a decent fitting t-shirt, I realized I would need something with a t-shirt length of about 24-25 inches.

I am looking for these two jackets that Ben Schnetzer wears playing Dimitri in the film 'The Riot Club'. One seems to be a leather hoodie and the other some sort of black lightweight jacket (notice the collar type). I can't seem to find them or anything similar anywhere! Any links to the jackets/similar jackets would be greatly appreciated!

I don't have any, man. Sorry...I don't wear t-shirts very often.

Hi guys, I would like to know if anyone know other brands that do this style of pants more in the 100 USD range.

Welcome to the forum, Bimba. I'm having trouble finding something similar around $100. I'll keep looking...
