1. Hi. We moved systems, and because it was impossible to achieve feature parity between the systems, we opted to archive the old B&S threads but allow users to read them so that they can put them into our new B&S system.

There is a support thread if you have any issues.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

Martin said he did the suits for the first wall street. I thought Flusser did?

IIRC Flusser designed them, but MG manufactured the items.

    Nice article.

Is Freeman's Sporting Goods the easiest way to get a MTM Greenfield suit made?

I don't think Freeman's does MTM, just OTR. Easiest way is to go to a tailor that uses Greenfield, or Brooks Brothers.

Good to hear MG is still going to be doing BB stuff. All the Golden Fleece I've seen lately was made in Italy. Maybe MG is only doing BB's MTM stuff now?

    I think that's correct but I'm not 100% sure.

Fok, can you speak on anything else about the Boarkwalk Empire stuff? I always wondered who was making it because it clearly looked custom. What types of fabrics is he using?

There are a few articles out there that focus more on the Boardwalk Empire wardrobe. If I remember right, they used vintage catalogs that included fabric swatches and had mills reproduce some of those fabrics.

    Two more things:

They may take walkins, but they certainly don't encourage it. On one hand, I wouldn't trek out there assuming I could get a suit made. On the other, if you call first it's probably easier for them to say no [IMG]

On Wall Street, I've read the Flusser thing elsewhere. I'm going to put two and two together and bet Flusser-designed, Greenfield-made.

I agree. Especially since Greenfield makes the suits for Flusser's store.

Greenfield handles large orders for Flusser. Basically the in house shop at Flusser makes clothing for new customers for their pattern to be established or small orders. MG would make clothes for those who were clients for years that didn't even need fittings and went right to the slip on phase.
