The Middle-eastern Gents who are buying their shoes at John LOBB are not there for sandals ,believe me...
The Ambassador of Syria was there when i bought a pair of shoes ....He was there for a pair of double-monks ...
They will not touch the summer collection sandals with a barge pole..

Go to the factory shop in Northampton...
There is also a guy called Northampton shoes who is selling seconds and other older models from the factory shop...
Try to contact him , he is on this site.....

Lasbar, I assume you're referring to the Chapel? I've come across some of your old posts on JL. Did you ever purchase the Becketts/Luffield in Pewter or Deep Blue? I'm glad to see you posting again. Would love to see some pictures of new JLs.

Very astute reasoning there Bengal. I was a bit baffled when I saw those sandals but now it makes sense.
