There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Do so, they're good.

I'm still confused about some parts of the series. Like...we abandoned some of the main aspects of the first season, ZFT, the Pattern, and what not.

    Seriously.

Did they ever explain what that bullet/football-shaped metal cylinder was that could dig through the earth?

From the sounds of this thread, I should attempt to watch this show...

Does it still do that stupid pseudoscience thing (see above)?

This is a good show and I've been watching from the beginning but I can't help but think the writers just left earlier storylines unresolved as the show progressed and they focused on this multiple dimensions thing.

For example, I don't think they ever answered what the deal was with Olivia's former partner (boyfriend?). Wasn't he involved in some of the "fringe" stuff happening in the beginning?

I mean, if the entire point was Walternate trying to protect his universe then we can pretty much just ignore the first 2ish seasons or so.

They did tie up that loose end with John and Olivia.

He was working undercover trying to infiltrate the group he initially appeared to be working for, IIRC

He's probably in the top 5 on TV today. I wonder what the fuck they're doing with Peter.

They seem to have completely dropped "the pattern" as a theme as well. Who's more smashable - Astrid or Olivia?

He is untouchable. One of his best episodes yet.

Yes and no - wouldn't one consider the pattern and its occurences mapped out on a map to be related to the recurring soft spots from the alternate universe?

This show keeps getting better although I have a feeling if it were not for the performances of John Noble and Lance Reddick, I would have written it off 2 seasons ago. Everyone is in top form.

I think it was partly that, partly Walternate's people running around screwing with stuff using their better tech.

I'm extremely excited to see Peter back, and cannot wait till the next episode. Extremely pissed that there's a one week gap though.
