Are you thinking "it's time I got a suit"? Maybe you have a new office job you will be dressing for, or perhaps you're off to university and want to look the part?

One thing to remember is that at age 20 you probably still have some growing to do ... perhaps not too much vertical, but certainly a bit ... um ... horizontal. (Ever see guys going to their 10-year grad anniversary trying to fit into thier grad suits? Yeah.) So don't drop too much money on stuff that you'll not fit properly five years from now.

Stop posting and expecting immediate relief on tips how to dress. This place is a database of information, be proactive and utilize it. Start searching and reading threads using terms like "newbie" "help" "building wardrobe" ect... Start reading advice and comments on general threads on here, build up your knowledge that way. Don't expect others to solve all your problems, you need to start yourself.

And for god's sake please learn how to spell the place your currently employed.

That's a bad reason to not buy nice clothes and a less than optimal outlook on life.

Not buying anything expensive now because he has no idea what he wants and probably won't like it in a few years would be a much better reason.

lol.
pick up some fashion magazines and look how others dress in them.
Walk around malls and etc - check out the stores you wouldn't regularly look at.

What is your body type?
are you short, fat, tall, thin, bulky?

There is a lot of variables that come into play that you are completely missing.
Please do some research trough this site and etc - and come back with some worth while info and not be so ignorant.

There is a great search function at the top. If all else fails, look through WAYWT and take note of what you like.

There are no quick answers.

For a guy in 20's, 5'6 and athletic I would recommend a trip to Zara. Looking the displays you'll get ideas and the prices wont break your wallet. Just dont purchase shoes there. For shoes, look on ebay for some grensons. grenson have some "sleek" looking shoes, good quality and good price.

On a second tought, a guy in 20's, 5'6 and athletic can wear almost anything. Just learn how to purchase things that fit, and that is not a small thing to learn.

Good luck!
