Hi everybody, I am in the process of building a wardrobe and stumbled upon this forum. Being on a limited budget, I am forced to search discount stores (C21 etc) and ebay.

Right now, I'm working on dress shirts and I've got a couple questions.

1) Is it worth it to buy from sites like yoox/overstock when they don't list the sleeve length? I'm a 17 35 btw.

2) I'm thinking about buying this shirt. I like Zegna and I think it is legit...question is this Zegna's regular line or couture or Z?

Thanks a lot for the help,
Hank

The shirt looks like Zegna's regular line. The tag seems a bit funny to me, but I've gotten stuff from 'The Friendly Buyer' before and it has all been legit, so I doubt that there is anything off about this garment. Could be for the European market, in which case it may fit a bit more snugly.

I'm not sure I like the collar on it. It seems overly soft and with a rather plain spread.

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
