Hello all, When my hair gets to the current length my mother makes me get it cut. When it gets cut it looks so short and geeky. I'm after a new hairstyle, something modern and new, easy to style and maintain. I've posted a pic of myself, any suggestions are helpful, please also include photo examples if you can. Thanks a lot.

What clothing style are you after? A cleaner or more sculpted-looking hairstyle will look rather silly when paired with a tee and jeans but more appropriate with a slightly dressed up look. It seems you're rocking the tee/jeans, and considering your age, I'd stick with the slightly shaggy options. You've got straight hair-- you can pull it off.

Yeah that's about right, I just can't find any good, easy to style/maintain styles.

Take a look at celeb photos and see if they're doing anything that works for you and that you like.
