^ Check out the GAP F/W 2009 here:

    http://www.style.com/fashionshows/complete/F2009RTW-GAP

I saw this on SuFu the other day.

    Things I found I wouldn't mind getting:

Green check jacket on slide 4

The chambray jacket on slide 20

The denim (?) popover on slide 21

    Sara Blomqvist on slide 13

These are subject to how they look IRL and whether or not they fit proper.

Well I suppose this forum wouldnt call it skinny...I wouldnt wear what is considered skinny here (I dont want the taper)

Gap has them at the same price as the other selvage although they only make the cut in selvage so it doesnt show up with specific cuts on their website

i picked up two pair. the low rise straight fit and std fit. i like everything about the straight fit except the low rise. i generally prefer a normal rise but the std fit's seat, thighs, and leg opening are too full.

if i soaked the std fit, i'm sure there'd be some shrinkage in the waist and inseam. but what about aspects like leg opening? would that pretty stay the same no matter what?

Here's a good tip for all you owners of the GAP white denim: When you're trying to spot clean them (to avoid a full-on wash) and you grab a sponge from the sink, make sure the sponge hasn't been used to clean spilled coffee.

Ya see, I didn't do that check, and now my white denim has 2 big brown stains on the front of the upper leg where I tried to clean. F'n shame.

Eh, don't bother spot cleaning the whites

wait until they are dirty and just shout any stains, soak for a while in detergant/water and then throw in a machine. Line dry in the sun for maximum whiteness

Oxy clean should get that out.

Yeah, I thought I was going to freak out about keeping them clean but I just treat them like my other jeans. I wash them when they get too dirty, otherwise fuck it - it's just denim.

Anyone else have this experience with the new dye-soaked Gap denim? I went to a Gap that had a ton of low-rise straight fit jeans with the "dye will spread" stickers on them, and I pulled back the wash instructions sticker and the size sticker, and it pulled off some of the dye and left a mark in the shape of the stickers. How f'ing retarded could they be to put stickers on jeans like this? I was going to buy a pair but quickly decided against it. Way to ruin all your jeans before even selling them, Gap.
