how long should i expect them to last i wear them about 2 days a week and had a goodyear cats paw put on top of the outersole

I'd expect quite a while, especially since the topy was applied. Just because they are Studio/basic line doesn't make them sh*t. I think you're better off than 90% of guys out there. Enjoy them

+1 - just be sure to not wear them on super rainy days because water will, over time, wear out the adhesive of the glue

What a bunch of haters....they are fine. I have a pair of studio that have lasted me over the past five or six years.

Yeah, they're nice. I wouldn't worry about the construction. Most glued shoes will become ratty and old before they come apart. (Think sneakers.)

If you read carefully no one has actually "hated," just described what the OP was asking for, construction and which line they belonged to. No one said that they were bad.
