There is no gated shifter and no clutch pedal? This car is a video game.

    Will always be my favorite.

IMO it's just one of those cars so glorious it can't be recreated.
Edit- off topic, but can anyone tell what kind of car that is behind it?

I agree with the spirit of this comment - but for track purposes, the benefits of the F1 style paddle shifting systems are obvious.

However, it will be interesting to see over the next several years how many road cars equipped with the first generation or two of this technology self destruct.

Personally, I don't think I'd ever want an every day driver without a clutch under my left foot.

Lately I find my Ferrari jones circling back to a 512 TR in an unusual color - like so:

    Me too - I want a 512TR badly. I also would like a 993 - I have some sort of yen for the 1990s.)

I completely agree, the technology today is awesome but can't replace the machine interaction with a conventional clutch pedal. When I was 16 my father would let me drive his '84 308, he would always go with to make sure I wouldn't get into trouble. I can still remember the chrome shift knob and the gated shifter bezel...great times.

I love the 512 TR, what a classic. My fav combo is white over beige leather.

You guys should check out the latest issue of Vogue Hommes International with useless loser Pete Doherty on the cover. Totally gay mag except for the photos of a white over beige Testarossa with a very naked Mini Anden. Me likey on both counts. And the spread with Doutzen Kroes maybe takes it down to only 98% gay.

Preview in the slide show here:

    You're welcome.

No, you're welcome...to post more links like that.

Although, to warn the folks at home, that link is not work-safe material and I just learned that the hard way (no pun intended).
