Hello everyone. This is my first post on this site, but I have been reading the messages here for a while. After getting frustrated with the AskAndy site going down again today, I decided to take the plunge and register here.

All of the EG fans here should check their mailboxes during the next few days. My copy of the new EG catalogue just arrived today. It's a very large single sheet of paper, with small thumbnail type pictures of all of the shoes. There are also a few small features on the different lasts, types of sole, bespoke option, etc. I was pleased to get the new catalogue finally, although it is somewhat less impressive than the glossy booklet they produced a year or two ago.

Received mine today. Overall, I was disappointed. The photos are very small and do not do the shoes justice. Also, I don't think the single page format is a very user-friendly idea.

There are actually two different versions of the new catalogue. The one-pager that we received is the version that they are sending by post. There is a much more extensive catalogue that is too heavy for them to do a bulk mailing. They will give you a copy if you order a pair of shoes or if you stop by their shop in the Burlington Arcade.

Until Edward Green enters the 21st century and publishes an online catalogue, or until dressy.net decides to put up its pictures again, here are some scans of their previous catalogue. Not the highest quality scans, but should provide a decent reference. [IMG]\t\t[IMG]\t\t[IMG] [IMG]\t\t[IMG]\t\t[IMG] [IMG]\t\t[IMG]\t\t[IMG] [IMG]\t\t[IMG]

Thanks for posting that, Timeless Rider, beautiful shoes. I'm partial to the Newbury and suede boots. BTW, the jpg for pages 6-7 (monk styles) doesn't load; somehow the URL isn't being formed correctly. There's a prefix of styleforum.net..../cgi-bin in there. After I got the error, I just removed everything so that only http://img32... was in the browser's address box, then everything was fine. (I am using Netscape 7).
