who wants to sponsor him and be remembered as the guy who invited eric glennie? It would be like sponsoring the RIAA for a demonoid account.

Glennie,

What I would do if I were a designer trying to develop a name for myself is invest some serious coin into getting a celebrity to wear my stuff. I'm talking serious "life ruining" type sums of money to get someone really big and influential . . . like K-Fed or someone similar.

Well, it seems EG is making quite a splash there as well.

The more I see this thread, part of me wonders if he's almost trying for the sort of negative publicity that nevertheless sometimes results in a one-time lucrative, five minutes of fame for sheer absurdity.

For example, remember a few years back on American Idol the try-out (he was a young asian guy) who sang "She Bang" so badly... I mean EG Bevel jeans badly... that he was actually given a contract by someone and made a CD???

Maybe EG is hoping that some company (Spencer's Gifts?) will see a novelty/gag value in these items and give his patents a go.

Other than that, I really have no idea what other purpose there might be, unless some sort of self-justification that the world "is just so mean" and doesn't get his ideas.
