Hello All, new member here. I would like to treat myself to a new pair of boots. All of mine are about 35-50 years old and have been extremely well kept and cared for, some resoled, and I wear them all rotating regularly. "Vintage" styling is back! I guess classics never die, and I am looking to purchase a pair that will give me the dress up and down factor with a nod toward ruggedness. Broad field and vaugue "question" I know- please forgive me that, but all input will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, they are. I own plenty and boots get beat up so have never had any issue with seconds.

* I should mention that you can get Wesco's and (AFAIK) White's made to order as well. And given that you can get them MTO, those vendors may have other boots that would work well for you. For instance, an 8" Wesco Jobmaster with 7 oz. leather and a lugged sole is a no-nonsense work boot. But build a 6" Jobmaster with 5-6 oz leather, a dress toe cap and, say Vibram 269 soles, and you've got a great very high quality casual go-anywhere boot.

Was going to pull the trigger on at least one pair of Allen Edmonds Rainiers, possibly a pair in each color offered. Anybody have them for size advice. I'm a very solid 10 by measurements, so 9.5 and 10.5 are usually doable. But 10s that are true to size always fit me. Anyone have these boots?
