New Black Grenson Royal Windsor Shoes (UK 11)

Hi all, I've manage to stumble across some shoes that do not fit me, so I thought i'd throw it out to anyone with UK Size 11 feet (I think US 12, but don't hold me to this). The shoes are unused, but come without a box, bags and laces. I know NOTHING about these shoes (a google search turned up very little), so I'd be grateful for any advice about the history and construction of the shoes. So, without further ado, here are the pictures.

In terms of price, I know very little so i'd be considering offers of around $80 + shipping from the UK. Thanks Clint

I would assume these are vintage. I would like to know what that type of leather is called though because I have many pairs of Aldens with this grain

All research would suggest that they are vintage as I can't find reference to them anywhere.

What I will do is contact Grenson to get some idea about the shoes. I'll be sure to ask about the materials used and the construction.

What are the numbers inside the shoe. Size, width and model # might help the search. The width will determine my level of interest.

The lack of stitching where the welt would be and the lack of a line where any hidden stitching on the sole would be cut-in indicates the soles are glued together. So your price may be a little optimistic..

My observations would concur with yours. However, the shoes did have the original price on them and they were nearly double the price I quote here.

Having said that, i'm open to offers (as the shoes cannot be worn by me).
