New Bespoke Suits - Baste Fitting Photos - your thoughts?

Dear All

I am having two bespoke/ custom suits with full / fully-floating canvas made up in London. This is my first time with a new tailor as my old one retired. I would be really interested in any suggestions on alterations following my baste fitting - feel free to be as critical as you'd like! I've attached the photos of both suits below. Thanks

More people will respond if you put the pics up as images instead of attachments. Just click on the little picture icon to the left of the paperclip you used to insert the attachments.

Felt ok - I do like a more Italian fit - you think it's too tight?

There does seem to be noticeable waist suppression. But it should only be an issue if it feels too tight and if the button is pulling.

Your tailor will know what he's doing so discuss it with him. It's possible the pinning at the front can be affecting the hang at the back. If it's not that, it looks a little too much waisted to me, can it be let out at the side seams? If can't adjust the side seams, I'd maybe consider a quarter belt or just ditch it.

You clearly have concerns you have not itemised so discuss them with your cutter directly not here. A web board can confirm things but these are the opinion of others who neither see nor wear the garment.

You have a sleeve pitch issue. The sleeves don't hang well, resulting in the terrible creases on them.
