Hello gentlemen, I'm new here. Just got a new suit. I know that this forum has something serious against black, but well, the job requires that I wear black, so don't eat me up on that point (please??). Just want to know, what do you all think? Thank you!
P/s: Sorry about the poor quality of photos, I took them with my laptop webcam so...

Fits you pretty well, but color and design kinda boring.

Looks like a nice fit why not do the second button up?

I think it fits great, but what is your job (that it requires you wear black?)

I think the button position is a little high.

Seems to fit well.

Two points:
1. Your right sleeve seems a bit shorter than your left.
2. Just a personal preference, but I would like to see a slightly lower button stance.

Thanks for the replies folks. This was done at my local tailor.

During my fitting I actually asked my tailor to up the button stance. My feeling was that although I have sufficiently wide shoulders, my chest is a little scrawny so I didn't want to show too much of it. Though I have to say, now I understand on hindsight where you all are coming from, perhaps it could be a little lower.

As for the sleeve lengths, I didn't realise that at all! Thanks for pointing it out, southbound35. Now I wonder if I can find the time to make another trip down to my tailor to get it fixed. Hmm hopefully its just a minor thing though.

This being my first suit, I was actually most concerned about fit than anything else. I'm glad to hear that most of you think it fits reasonably well! As for more exciting designs, maybe next time. This one although being relatively affordable (converts from my currency to about USD350), is quite a wedge in my pocket.

If this is truely your first suit, great job! Not many can do bespoke this well on a first try, you must have a really good tailor.

Next time try getting a different color, is there any reason your job wants you to wear black?

Wow, if you paid $350 that is a great deal.
