Crocodile or Alligator are a funny one because people are fascinated by them...
They love them or hate them but find them interesting...
When they're done with style using great quality skins ,they're stunning...
Every time I'm wearing mine ,people are talking about them...
The anti-croc brigade and their pimp stereotype agenda are missing the point...
Crocs were loved in the thirties by flannel wearing gentlemen...

Looks like a very well-made pair of shoes. The sole has a bit of curvature, which is nice. Is it blake (can't quite tell from the pics). The heel is also sleek and well-executed, and so is the toe box. As for the leather, I'm not a huge fan of alligator or croc for shoes, but they can certainly be worn by someone with the right panache. For this sort of stuff I prefer ostrich leather.

They are supposed to be handwelted, although i can not really see the welt clearly.

I find them to be slightly boxy? The leather does look stunning though.

They're not boxy at all. The last is quite sleek and long...
If you want boxy ,have a look at certain Edward Green or Crockett classic lasts...

Cdmoore,

I don't think they are welted, for what I saw at shop. Did you ask for welted?

Maybe you are right, I did email them to confirm they would welt them along with adding steel toe tap but they forgot the taps so likely not welted either. I think I should have brought it up again at the fitting but assumed the welting was automatic. It's likely to be my only adventure with Kow Hoo anyway, except for resoling. These shoes will be worn rarely so the lack of welt should not really make a difference.

I don't know why, normally the welting is automatic, as far as my 4 pairs made by them.
Without welting actually don't make much difference in term of wear.
