So I was in BB today to return a pair of boot that didn't fit me, came across some "new" (to me anyway, hasn't follow BBBF in a long time) suit model.

- Side vent
- 3 roll to 2
- Darted front
- "Normal" jacket length (still on the shorter side, for 36, or BB0 it's 29 inch boc)
- Not ridiculous tiny lapel

It say made in USA, going for $1,600. The odd part is the jacket says "36" instead of "BB0", though the tag attached to the jacket still says BB0. It's navy blue (not smooth, has some texture, similar to birdeye, not sure how you call it exactly)

Basically it's like Milano fit with softer construction (or just better) all around, 3 roll to 2, and higher arm hole. If you compare this to Polo Ralph Lauren, then it's Polo II (side vent, 3 roll to 2) with Bradford kind of armhole. This is definitely something I wouldn't mind picking when goes on sale :nodding:

And here is a poor fit picture, i.e. it's taking at an angle, so jacket seems longer than it is, the vents are still shut, so the bottom of the jacket looks weird

edit: Also I am wearing a belt with big buckle, so for the odd standing out part

Interesting; thanks for the post.

I like the usual BBBF fit, except for the jacket length which I find a half inch or so too short. I can get away with it as a suit as the uniformity sort of disguises the length issue, but I've had to pass up several jackets I liked otherwise because of this. If this is indeed a cut that's slightly more traditional in length, I'm looking forward to trying it on at some point. The lapel width is a bonus too.

This is the only suit I found in this length though, everything else (suit and sports coat) is shorter. There are definitely more side vents stuff in BBBF than there used to be for sure though.

Are those hacking pockets or is that the angle of the jacket quarters relative to the camera?

Also, how would you compare the shoulder padding to the Milano (the black fleece looks to be more padded)?

Not hacking pockets. Does it look like hacking pockets in the picture? probably because I am taking the picture at an angle.

Hum, can't recall about padding when compare to Milano, it's certainly light padded
