New Allen Edmonds Park Ave: Wierd Color Sole

So I just ordered my second pair of Allen Edmonds over the holiday. I have a question regarding the sole that came on the shoe. Somehow, it doesn't look aesthetically pleasing. I remember my Delray's came with a more natural looking tan leather sole. However, these have a weird reddish brown leather sole. There is something cheap looking about the sole. From pictures I have seen online, I was expecting more of what I had before. Were my expectations off or are there questions that need to be asked of AE? Thanks. See picture
