New Aldens is this dye bleed through normal?

Hi, everyone. Long-time reader first-time poster. I live in Los Angeles, CA.

I just received my Long Wing Blucher Commando Sole Color 8 Shell Cordovan 975C. Ordered fro AldenMadison. Is the Dye bleed through normal? It on both shoes but only on one side of each shoe.

What does everyone think? Has anyone seen this before? I must have over a dozen Alden and have never seen the dye come through the eyelets like this.

I would think at this price level the attention to detail would a priority.

Is not Cordvon leather come dyed from the Horween factory? Is it normal to dye the shoe after it is made?

Wabi-sabi my friend. I have the same on my 990s (not to that degree). I like the character, but if you don't I'm sure AoM will replace for you.
