New Alden 403 Issue

I just received a pair of the Alden x Jcrew 403 cxl Indy boots and there is some kind of imprinting in the leather on both boots in the same spot by the toe stitching. Is this normal? Also do you think this is something that could be remedied with some Venetian shoe cream or should I just return them and reorder? Thanks!

Return these shoes. I don't think there's much you can do to get that imprint out.
