Hey you guys,

We have a new affiliate, Azalea, a boutique in San Francisco. They are giving us a 15% coupon, also "styleforum" (big surprise there). They have some interesting things (I'm sure some of you are familiar with the store), so take a look. I personally like that they carry APC clothes (only place on the net I've seen it) as well as their jeans, including stuff that is not on the APC website. (And these days, waiting for the APC sale is generally useless anyway, since everything seems to blow out in the first hour or so.) My favorite is the black hooded vest, which imo, would look cool over a fitted sweater or maybe a fitted plaid shirt (my favorites are from Band of Outsiders, Obedient Sons, and Troglodyte homunculus.)

They also have a very selection of John Varvatos, including a very decent selection of belts, which, with the coupon, can be had for about $ 70-105.

They ship internationally, and for now, at least, shipping is free.

Just ordered some Baxter facewash with the coupon....a little more than on the Baxter site but with the 15% came out to about the same....

Not a bad selection; I shall have to go check out their storefront this weekend.

Yup. Actually, APC stuff is firmly entrenched (by design) in the same pricepoint as Engineered Garments, Wings & Horns, Rag & Bone - i.e. stuff that we blow too much of our disposable income on. It's expensive, but not priced so lux that we can't splurge occasionally.

That's how they screw with our heads

I am keeping them all for myself! When they come back in style again in the two-thousand and SIXTIES I will resell them and make a killing!

Yes. They are not quite as fitted as American Apparel, but in that range. They are about the same length. Not a bad brand. I liked their outerwear (cool corduroy moto styled jacket in blue and also in chestnut) and corduroys a few seasons ago. And a Californian company to boot!

Nice site. Looks like it will be exceptionally good at prising my money from me.

I drop in there sometimes. Will the coupon work in store?

Bought my first pair of dry denims (APC rescues) from them awhile ago. They were totally aware of the dry not washing thing back then also.

Are their prices on Barking Irons tees the norm? I went to Boutique U&I the other day and BI tees were retailing 115$CAN, which I found totally ridiculous.

The seller was giving me attitude to boot, but that's another matter.

Really? I went in there on a trip over the summer, and there was a really cute, helpful girl there.

Well, I don't want to hi-jack the topic, but I just asked the guy if EG had slimmer cuts this season, as Fok had been telling us previously. He just dismissed it by saying: «No. Designers don't change their cuts. They change fabrics though. Not cuts.» Then I told him that I had heard otherwise, and he dismissed me again in a somewhat patronizing fashion. I left like two minutes afterward.

Anyway, Azalea looks really nice, but there's not much for the smaller guys, heh.

Thanks. Know anything about the shrinkage?
