I can't find anything on Netflix. I just go through the categories and scroll through the 25 or so selection before it loops. Apparently you could watch trailers for a movie on Netflix but I think they took that away.

Let's share some tips on how to use Netflix. I'll start. When you look at DVDs you can save them to the Queue. They have the same feature for instant movies, only they call it a "list." Also, instant means streaming. So for a quick reference queue=list and instant=streaming. I'll post more tips as I figure it out.

How did she handle "Passion"? I always thought that was a game changer episode.

She loved the drama of it, but I don't believe she cared much for Jenny's character.

We are taking a break from Buffy at the moment (season 5) and are getting caught up on Angel. :D

Just saw flight. Very good movie. Amusing how much of a douche Denzel is in the film. Loved the hotel room scene toward the end.

Side Effects is also a very good movie.

Question, since the redesign, anyone have trouble rating films? I can't seem to do it.

Season 5 of Buffy is one of the strongest of the show's run, with Episode 16 ("The Body") being one of the finest hours of TV I've ever seen. Seasons 6 & 7, after the move to the new network, were really mediocre. Angel is good, but it never quite resonated emotionally the same way Buffy did, even though it was a darker and more complex show.

I agree on 6 & 7. Have already warned her that she's in for disappointment, but she's determined to finish them.

I personally loved Angel. Wesley was one of my all time favorite tv characters. He had an amazing story arc over the show.

Angel automatically gets a pass despite a lot of questionable **** that was pulled during its run (resurrecting Spike?????). And the reason is because of the episode "I Will Remember You".

Currently watching CLient 9 about the fall of Eliot Spitzer. Very amusing to see Richard Harald's wife featured as one of the escorts. Suprisingly, things get very interesting when the action shifts to Albany.

I thought Client 9 was a very interesting story. Really gave me new found respect for Spitzer.

Really? I finished that movie thinking he was a bigger twat. Great he slayed giants but to be so stupid and arrogant not to remember he made plenty of enemies and keep his nose clean really grinds my gears. Anyway, I found Kenneth Langone to be a riot, the guy truly enjoyed watching (helping?) Spitzer trip over himself.

Totally reasonable to think he was a turd. I suppose I just do not care about someone's sex life and I think it really has no bearings on who they are and what they stand for and their ability to carry out their responsibilities effectively. While prostitution is illegal, I really am not opposed to it and feel like it should be legalized and regulated. Also, one could argue that seeing a high dollar pro versus having an affair is keeping your nose clean. Anyway, Preet Bharara is doing an ice job as AG too, so it's not like Spitzer was irreplaceable.

I also liked that Spitzer was willing to speak to the filmmakers on record and was willing to be candid. That is pretty cool and pretty rare in the world of politics.

The selection on Netflix is going downhill fast. I've always been a defender of the library they have available, but it's getting bad lately. Company needs to be willing to spend more on extending it's deals or they will start loosing subscribers at this rate.

This is not good news, given that I'm due to start up with Netflix again because of house of cards season two.

I'm actually liking the selection right now. Have a lot of movies on my list.

Their tv selection is pretty strong, but I agree on the movies. I've come up empty on several attempts to find something specific.

What is the best time of the series to pick up Dr. Who?

I watched the first episode of the season that started in 2005 and it was quite honestly some of the worst television I have ever seen.
