Just grabbed 12 sleeves at a shop.

Nice call out. Like your little dinosaur drawing.

Can I have some? I'll trade you for some of the new Peru Secreto. I haven't tried the Monsoon Malabar.

Sure, but I never go to the UWS. May I suggest a drop? Central Park garbage can ... that kind of thing?

Mad Ave may have some more. Don't love the Peru.

No need for a trade. If you can't find any I'll forward over a sleeve. But let me know quickly - it's so good I practically drink this stuff.

What can y'all recommend to me that like the Malabar Monsoon has a ton of different flavors going on? I like how it isn't super intense but just has a lot of complexity and is slightly salty at the end. It's seems like a great blend of fruity and acidic tastes.

There's nothing like it for espresso at the moment. But I really like the Sulawesi and Aged Sumatras that Peet's sells.

I really liked the Triste (sp?) Italian pod that came out a year or two ago, that and the monsoon are at the top of my favorites list, it would be insanely awesome if they made them regulars.

Ristretto, Roma, Darkhan, and Arpeggio Decaf have become my go-to mainstays. I also make an effort to try out the various limited time coffees. I liked the Malabar as well. The Peru isn't bad either, although probably not as interesting as the Malabar was.

In Canada, the capsules are $0.75 - $0.85 each. The regular pods are $0.75-$0.79, but the limited edition ones are usually around $0.85. Not sure why they would be so much cheaper in Europe (costs for most things are typically the other way around, although Germany is usually better than France or the U.K.). Perhaps it's economies of scale from cheaper distribution networks, a greater market share, etc.

I wish they would do more for the Vertuoline. The caramel one tastes like dirt (aside from vanilla ones all their "flavoured" versions taste terrible). I know they made the vertuoline so they could compete with Kuerig and Tassimo and the rest but it doesn't seem like they have any plans to do anything further for it which is surprising.

My wife was gifted the sampler for Mother's Day so I tried everything (usually stick to 4 different coffees for the Vertuoline when I order). The Vanizio is actually pretty good. The flavored ones are the only limited edition / non-standard ones they make for the Vertuoline, and they taste like shit, that's all I was getting at.

So I found an eBay seller with a bunch of the old limited editions. Other than the Malabars, what else should I see about getting?

IIRC, I liked Naora quite a bit, which was unexpected because I am generally a dark roast (Ristretto/Arpeggio) drinker.

Monsoon sold out everywhere. Down to my last three sleeves.

    Tough times ahead.

How often do the limited edition pods come out! And is it world wide?
