yes. heels up. i double side-tape my feet to the plates when going heavy so i don;t slip

Damn, I always got **** for doing that. I have short tendons also, it made me not want to squat.

balance/stability have always been problematic for me. i do the same thing during clerans and push presses.

same here. used to get **** all the time for it. I tend to think bro ideology leaves no room for realizing one's own limitations, and smart lifters are able to come to terms with them. I spent 3 months stretching my achilles every day, and my heels still come up just using the bar with no plates.

Bad form? Maybe for people that have decent achilles length/flexibility.
