I need to get some tailoring done: a few pants hemmed and a cashmere overcoat hopefully taken in.

Can anyone suggest a trusted tailor near my place? I live near the stock exchange in downtown Manhattan. Many thanks.

I live on John St.

I've been using the tailor (Ann St. Tailor is the name, I believe) at Fulton and Broadway for the past few months and he's been great.

It's right across from the Duane Reade. There are people selling hats/cologne at the storefront, walk in, and on the left there is a black staircase leading to the tailor.

edit: I also brought an overcoat to him...it took about 4 modifications to get it just the way I wanted it, and he never once complained or seemed annoyed that I kept bringing it back. Good guy.
