    I currently have this umbrella:

    http://www.amazon.com/GustBuster-Cla...6588991&sr=8-2

The problem is that it doesn't have a metal tip and the plastic tip is wearing out. Technically I don't need to replace my current umbrella, but the thought of the tip being worn out is driving me crazy.

I'm looking to get something similar with a metal tip. Any suggestions? My budget is going to be a maximum of $100.

A good source for quality umbrellas is:

    http://www.european-umbrellas.com/

They have stick-throughs at great prices, and steel shafts at decent prices as well. Ortel also has an edited selection of SAB umbrellas.

My favorite compact umbrella is dave k: http://www.onthefly.com/product/dave...umbrella/10430

Thanks, but they're not located in North America. I want to place my orders here.
