I've come to the conclusion I don't like my current boots, so need to get some new ones. I'll be using them as my generalist shoe - to and from work, casual outings etc. I am equally likely to go out to a bar/restaurant after work or meet my friend at the dog park for a stroll on the trails. Here are my needs:
  • Versatile look: would like to be able to wear them with jeans and dress pants.
  • Fairly supportive - I'll be doing a fair bit of walking.
  • Comfortable and breathable; preferably something that doesn't take too long to break-in.
  • Durable - i won't be hiking in them or anything, but I'd like them to be able to stand up to a bit of abuse.

I was thinking about the Ecco Biarritz, but some reading on here suggests Ecco boots may be a bit over-priced for what you get. I was also thinking about the Camper 1913s, or Fluevog PBS. I find that Clarks Desert Boots look a little too chunky on my big feet.

Any other suggestions?
