Need some new brown shoes!

I'm in the market for a pair of brown shoes for work in an office.

I know that these aren't English made, and are probably low end Loakes, but for £84 delivered (with a discount code) they look pretty good:

Can anybody suggest a better brown shoe for similar money?


Also, I'm being tempted by this as an extra treat pair:

It's in a completely different price bracket, but looks like great value. I'm put off slightly by the square toe, but I must confess to liking the look of them. Any thoughts?

I would say to go on ebay, and buy yourself some barely used (like new) Allen Edmonds for under $80 US.

That would be great, and I already did this with a pair of Fifth Avenue. However, I'm not in the US so the shipping pretty much doubles the price
