Need some advice on matching belt and boots

Hello all. I want to say up front that I'm not very fashion savvy, so I'm sure this post will seem naive to most of you. I have a pair of black crocodile boots and a black alligator belt. The belt is quite a bit glossier than the boots (see attached, however the difference is really greater than the picture suggests). My question is, can I wear these together or should the gloss of the leathers match more closely? Thanks, Robert

It's fine. If someone gives you gruff about not matching the sheen and the skin, tell them where you'll put that croc boot.

You wear those boots and worry about what others think? I’d say if your confident enough for the boots you don’t need others opinions

And I’m not cracking on the boots they are impressive I like them
