Need recommendation - lightweight jacket

So, looking for a relatively fitted lightweight (cotton/linen) jacket. Preferably not olive green (something like a M-65 would be ok but I already have on in green).

Any suggestions? Dug around the forum affiliates but have not had much luck. But I do like the look of the older MJK linen jacket on the first page of his affiliate thread, actually.

Stratospherically priced items need not apply. I don't care about the brand as long as the quality is good for the price

It's got a good weight to it, is affordable and is fantastic for dressing down a shirt and tie. Also it you type EXTRA30 at checkout you can knock another 30% off of there.

That is sort of interesting - but only available in Large and above. Considering JCrew's typical sizing, it would be far too large for me

Thank you though!

When you say red, are we talking fire engine red or darker? Edit: You mean similar colour to the one in the thread, sort of dark brick? I am about 5"9 - 5"10, 142 or so lbs. I think the medium may work (we are talking about the Italian linen moto jacket, right?)

Bummer, the curse of slales I suppose. Do you have a Jcrew nearby? I got mine instore marked down to78$ then dropped my student discount on top of that.

If you can wait a couple months, Mr. Olive's spring jackets looked great and we will have about 6 different styles that may be of interest. Most of the jackets arrive to us in mid-January. Look over the Mr. Olive thread to see if there is anything that catches your eye. Guarantee they will be fitted.

depending on how light weight you're looking for, the Rag and Bone combat shirt (shirt jacket) from last spring was pretty nice. i have the khaki version. i believe it came in black as well.
