According to my research;

1) Allen Admonds does not have a black semi brogue captoe w/ medallion.

2) C&J does not have in black.

3) I don't want AS or the one they made for BB.

What are more other options within the price range o C&J and AS?

Thanks.

Alden has one for under $400. The model number is 909 I believe.

Well, I must have overlooked C&J 's Welbeck, though I did not like the shape of the medallion on it.

I forgot to say that I am not fond of shell cordovans.

I have the Timothy (one of my favorites) and it fit true to size after starting out a bit snug. I have pretty wide feet too. I would def suggest this shoe even in black.

One might still find the Allen-Edmonds Colton or Lexington about although they've been on closeout for some time.

Strange. I bought both the brown and black and had to go a half size up on both.

What's wrong with the BB? They've got one or two quite nice captoe brogues, styling and quality are quite equal to AE or CJ.

Well the one from Brooks is made by AS. And I don't want that one.
