I'm new, and I need to buy a pair of shoes/boots.

I really like these, in fact, I like most Paul Smiths I see on the site. Thoughts on these shoes??

Also, can I wear these with jeans? Is there a formal/less formal shoe guide?

Those boots look awesome, I wish I could afford/have enough reasons to wear them to justify that amount of spending Paul Smith.

Paul Smith shoes are compatible with most sock brands. Also backwards compatible to previous sock versions.

Look better with slimmer jeans IMO.

if you take dress cues from this board at all you'll find it very hard to make those boots look bad.

you cant go wrong with the brogued boots w/jeans

I have all of those (except that brown 3rd down brogue) and I think they're pretty versatile, but it depends on your overall vibe. The red Rollins at top is easily one of my fave if not fave PS shoe I own

The red rollins, even the tan millers look fantastic... but keep in mind they will tougher to wear well if you don't have a clear vision on how to integrate them.

I own the tan millers if it makes much difference to you.

I'm really, really into these shoes, but I'm having a hard time finding them. Of course, I've found them at Smith's official website, but I'd rather order in-country, and maybe get a slightly more 'reasonable' price.

I'd love to get the pair to wear to Christmas festivities.
