I would only order a few and wear them for a few weeks to make sure you like them.

You have to take the time to go and try them on to know which has the style you want and fit you well. Also go to Suit Supply, they just opened on Oak St and you should take a trip to Morris & Sons on Polk.

Nobody here can give you a good recommendation because nobody here knows how BB or JC will fit you. Especially when each company has a variety of different cuts.

Your best bet is to learn how pants should fit, and for that, the best write up was written here by a member named tutee. Learn how pants should fit and buy the pair that best achieves that given your budget.

Today - I tried on the BB Madison Gab, the BB Regent Dress Slack (95% wool, 5% something else), and Banana Republic Tailored Fit and Tailored Slim Fit.

Madison Gab - Much too large in the thigh area
BB Regent Dress Slack - Nice, but not as tailored of a look in my opinion, as the Banana Republic Options
Banana Republic Tailored Fit - My favorite fit, but they only came in navy blue (and won't be getting more in until next week) MSRP = $150
BR Tailored Slim Fit = Not bad, but perhaps too slim.

They also had the Modern Cut, which was like the Tailored Fit by the leg opening was larger. Whereas in the Tailored Fit, the leg opening was slim....

So many options
