Hey everyone,

Can some please tell me what's causing these trousers to bunch up in the back? The bottom photo is my normal size 34... first photo I sized up to a 36. As you can see I'm still getting the bunching up in the back.

I obviously I didn't buy them. I would like to know what I need to do so this will not happen. Could a tailor fix this problem? Or should I just look for better fitting trousers?

Incase anyone is wondering these are Brook Brothers trousers.

The simple answer is that they do not fit. Presumably other makes/cuts do fit properly and so you might stick to them.

Beyond that these appear to be 6/8" too long for you which will have an effect on the manner in which they hang: Does the shop keeper not have some which are closer to your size?

The second pair are bigger? That seems odd but their fit is not too bad for RTW, are they a different style/cut which is better suited to you? Can a tailor help, not with the first pair that looks like a full recut which might thrown other things off balance for example bringing the back pockets too close to one another, the second pair will be determined by excess fabric in the seams as some relieve in the seat appears necessary.

GBR,

Thanks for the reply. They don't have any trousers with the length that fits me. They are all way to long.

I edited my post. The first photo the trousers are a size bigger 36 waist. I where a size 34 normally. The bottom photo is a 34. But they still don't look good in the back.

I guess I'll just keep looking or get some tailored made.
