alright, this may be the wrong place to post this, but im going to try anyway. i have decided to buy my wife and cashmere scarf for christmas. i have read that some of the best scarfs come from scottland and that the belly of the goat produces the best cashmere. but where to get a good one, from which company. when i googled this, i found scarfs for 9.99, yea right, on ebay. i also found scarfs for upwards of 300.00. i am looking for something reputable in the 100.00 range. any help would be much appreciated. again if i posted in the wrong place i am sorry.

Wow, I may have to get myself that scarf! Anyway, I have a Johnstons scarf. http://www.highlandstore.com/acatalo...e_Scarves.html http://www.highlandstore.com/acatalog/SCARVES.html Absolutely love it! Always look forward to going outside, just so I can put it on.

If you have a Filene's basement near you, try there. I picked up a quite nice cashmerwe scarf at the Baltimore store about 75% off.

Nordstrom has some really nice cashmere scarfs and wraps in it's store brand. They run between $100 - $200 on nordstrom.com. You can get them for under $100 new on ebay.

IMO, scarves are tough on eBay, unless you trust the seller and know what you're buying.
