Need Help With Matching A Vest

hello everyone, i was looking for some answers on the internet and a search engine pointed me to these forums and well i've seen some of the advice you guys give and it's really good so here goes my question:

i recently purchased a dark blue stripe (stripes are grayish white) suit from JCPenny and i absolutely love it. i want to get a matching vest for it but they don't have any in the store and the lady at the register said that it's an in-store item only and that online they sell a black one. so what i want to know is what other color vest can i match to the suit? would a black stripe (stripes are grayish white) vest match it well? and where can i find some vests online?

If you are a dandy then coloured silk waistcoat can work (but if you were a dandy you wouldn't be asking this).
