You shouldn't be wearing a tux shirt (with pleats) unless you're wearing a tux. A black suit is not a tuxedo. And a white shirt with black collar/button/etc would look even tackier than a bedazzled tie. Sounds like the sort of thing more suited to wearing to a cheap nightclub than to a formal event like a wedding.
That beind said, I will just find a slim black tie that people have suggested, and I will make a custom white tux shirt wtih modern tailor. I am thinking of doing something a bit different, white shirt of course with pleats but a black contrast wide spread collar, black buttons, black lining inside the placket and french cuffs. Any support on this? or just keep it plain white with pleats?
